Monster Truck Madness – Mini Mud Trucks
Hey gang, Happy Thursday to you!
I really feel like over the previous calendar 12 months I’ve written quite a bit about mud vehicles. Around this time final 12 months the unique Traxxas TRX-4 High Trail was introduced and launched. I preordered one and had a blast with it. Just a pair weeks in the past the gang at RC4WD introduced the Scottsdale K10. They aren’t out but, however I would like one unhealthy and plan to seize one this Fall.
It’s been a stable 12 months for followers of jacked up American Iron. Especially those that benefit from the bowtie selection.
I suppose I’m going to remain on model this week then, as a result of Traxxas simply introduced the 1/18 TRX-4M High Trail Chevrolet K10, and yep, I would like one.
Traxxas didn’t simply slap a physique on the TRX-4M, they gave it the carry therapy ala the 1/10 model. Bigger tires, a suspension with extra floor clearance, a properly detailed hardbody with CLEAR windows- it’s a pleasant little package deal.
And all that with a battery and charger for below $200. NOICE.
My 1/10 High Trail was used as a mini monster truck as I simply couldn’t naked getting the factor muddy. The baby although? Absolutely excellent candidate for it.
The normal TRX-4M has me ever because it was introduced and I’ve come near pulling the set off on one just a few occasions over the past 12 months however figured eh, I don’t actually need one other normal scaler (despite the fact that this one is smaller). A mini mud/monster truck although? Easy resolution for me.
I actually respect how the TRX-4M is small however juuuust giant sufficient to work out on a regular path. The High Trail version offers it only a smidge extra floor clearance, which is about excellent for a small scaler.
Especially for a mud truck. It’s large enough to have the ability to play in some precise lavatory, however sufficiently small to not be a trouble to move when filthy or to wash.
Sign me up!
One would assume {that a} white paintable laborious physique goes to come back quickly, like for the Defender and Bronco. And when it does, it’s time for a mini Rotten Apple weathered junkyard scheme!
Looking ahead to choosing mine up on the LHS. Look for extra on the 1/18 High Trail quickly!
Until subsequent time, preserve it on all 4’s!
