Monster Truck Madness – FMS Licenses the Smasher
Hey of us and Happy Thursday to you!
One of the issues that I missed final week when writing about my experience at BIGFOOT Open House 2023 was that the “High Roller II” edition of the FMS Smasher was launched.
The 1:1 High Roller II is a completely restored traditional monster truck that’s been making appearances for the higher a part of a decade because it was introduced again to life by new homeowners. It’s one of many prettiest rigs on the market. I’ve been lucky sufficient to see it carry out many occasions, and it’s an actual head turner.
As the truck has grown in reputation, increasingly more licensed merchandise has change into available for it. It’s cool see that now there may be an official r/c model of the rig!
The High Roller crew had the brand new FMS Smasher with them on the market at Open House. The photographs listed here are from my buddy (and longtime Squid reader) Jeffrey Mackovitch, as he now owns a few them!
It seems like small scale monster trucking goes to proceed gaining reputation. In chatting with the JConcepts crew, they’re actively engaged on some new equipment for the Smasher and different 1/24 vehicles of it’s ilk.
There are additionally rumors out of there of varied different firms that plan to go to market with 1/24 and barely bigger mini-monsters this coming indoor season. One would suppose, if the scuttlebutt is true, that we see among the bulletins throughout the vacation 2023 window. These sort of small vehicles are the right factor for the hobbyist on the lookout for some indoor winter enjoyable!
Before we go, this was a shot I obtained at Open House of Jeff’s Traxxas Ford F-150 TRX-4 High Trail that’s geared up with a set of JConcepts Ranger Tires / Midwest Wheels. How freakin’ candy is that? Traxxas must launch an official licensed BIGFOOT 1 version of the rig already!
Alright of us, that’s it for this week. Until subsequent week, preserve it on all 4’s.
