Check out the outcomes from the 2023 ROAR 1/tenth scale Off-Road Dirt Nationals hosted by Hobbytown Columbus.
There was controversy with the best way the primary occasions have been scored and an announcement was made by ROAR Racing put up race. The most straight altered end result was for the win in 17.5 inventory buggy with Kyle Gough initially being topped champion however the ruling gave the win to Doug Lariviere. The official assertion is posted beneath.
“WE MADE A MISTAKE.
In originally setting up the event the option was clicked for IFMAR style instead of ROAR. This mistake was completely our fault and I as president take full responsibility. Once it was pointed out, which did not happen until the mains, it was corrected. While it changed some results and possibly even some A main drivers, I made the call to follow what was documented in our rules to determine national champions. Everyone adversely effected by this decision, I do apologize and I will personally pay your entry if you choose to race with us again.” -Clayton Young
